Obituary:
Mr. Khupminthang Haokip (21 years) s/o Pu (L) Janglal Haokip of L. Phaikholum Village, Kangvai Sub-division, the only son of a widowed mother, true son of the soil, brave warrior and a great friend. He laid down his life in defence of our ancestral lands and freedom, killed by Meitei Terrorists at Joupi, a Kuki village while he was on duty guarding his people from Meitei militants. May he along with our other fallen warriors watch from above as we continue the cause they gave their life for.
